About Me

My own therapy was the experience that helped shape my path into professional training and development. It gave me something surprising when I needed it - not quick answers which rarely last, but a space where difficult things could be approached honestly, and without judgement.

Along with this my work in a range of helping and facilitative roles allows me to adapt thoughtfully to the person in front of me rather than working in a rigid or formulaic way.

Together, we make room to notice and understand what’s happening beneath the surface. With time, what once felt knotted or overwhelming can start to feel clearer, more manageable, and less defining. Clients often describe gaining greater clarity about their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Things that once felt stuck or overwhelming can begin to feel more workable. Rather than avoiding what feels difficult, people often find they are better able to move through it with greater confidence and self-understanding.

I remember that choosing a therapist can feel daunting. If you pay attention to how you feel as you read someone’s words or speak with them this will often guide you. Beyond qualifications, accreditation and theory, the sense of being understood and to be able to be yourself is often what makes the greatest difference — something that research consistently supports.

Even if you are unsure where to begin, you’re very welcome to get in touch to see if therapy is right for you and if we might be a good fit.
